Gustar - to like (a verb)
Gustar is an AR verb, so the endings follow that pattern. However, there are some exceptions to this verb.
1. It is used with a reflexive pronoun (me, te, le, nos, les) and then you conjugate it
2. You use the singular version unless the subject is plural Ex: Nos gustan las uvas. (We like grapes) Grapes is plural as is we like (gustan).
3. If you want to say WHO likes something, you say: A (nombre) le/les gusta...A Juan le gusta dibujar. (Juan like to draw) (Juan is a nombre and le is used because it is singular). A los muchachos les gustan jugar el fútbol. (The men like to play soccer) (The muchachos is a plural group of people so les is used).
4. To make a negative sentence you put "no" before the reflexive pronoun. Ex: No me gusta dibujar. (I do NOT like to draw).
