Immigration Point System - Economic immigrants class
Immigrants trying to come to Canada must pass the point system we have in place. There are numerous categories and if you score high enough you may be considered for immigration. Family class immigrants do not follow the point system as their families will be responsible for their well being. Refugees do not follow the point system because their lives are in danger; however, they have other requirements and categories they must fill instead.
